Virus story: what went wrong?
"Virus" case was the source of lost time of many people who spent time on providing PR messages,
opinions on them etc. LOST time. But what went wrong? What was the primary mistake?
My opinion: the blogger from Kaspersky simply should have contacted OpenOffice.org security team
first, not only because it is "standard way" to report security issues to vendors but it could also
prevent everyone from this faux pas ;-)
So, please: next time, instead of making you look like an idiot, please do everything "the standard way".
